I was in need of massage for lower back pain. Wanted some place close to home, and Self-Transformations appeared in my Google search. Never been so glad for that hit. My first appointment was with Charuta. She took the time to listen to my concerns and the areas that I felt needed to be concentrated on. It was not my first massage, but definitely the best. I immediately took advantage of a long-term package they offered at a discounted rate and have been going once a month ever since. Charuta has remained my primary therapist, but I have also been treated by Jordan, also excellent. I have had many many massages by different therapists and I can say for sure Charuta is by far the best massage therapist I have been to! Her knowledge and attention to detail are amazing! As a doctor and type of bodyworker myself, I won't just see any massage therapist. I need to be sure that they understand the fascial system and know just the right amount of work the body needs. I am so happy that Self Transformations Massage is in Longmont, because Chārutā AhMaiua is amazing. She works in such a way that doesn't inflame the tissue, but, rather - relaxes and calms the tissue. If you want to leave your massage feeling more integrated than before - definitely go see Chārutā. Charuta knocked my socks off!
I’m a massage therapist and had been scouring the Internet for a few days looking for the right massage therapist here in Longmont and eventually all of the stars aligned and I landed on Charuta’s massage table.
Everything was just what I needed and wanted. Her Ashiatsu and traditional massage blend was so great. Pressure, atmosphere and attention to detail was all 10/10.
I was so overwhelmed with gratitude that it took me over a week to write this review.

I've never had a massage before, mainly because I'm a bit bigger of a guy and didn't think that someone would be really able to get into my deep tissue to have my muscles relaxed after the week's work out. That changed when I got a massage from Jordan. I forgot what the technical name of it was but she essentially hung from the ceiling and used her feet to really dig in to me. She has excellent control with the force applied and at some points I even had to tell her to ease up! Never wanted it to end, but at the end of it I was the most relaxed I had been in a long time. This is hands down the best massage I have had in the past decade. Charuta knows how to work every muscle to perfection, leaving you with that almost out of body experience/daydreamy feeling when you get up off of the table. My back was in serious pain in February and Charuta and Jordan got me back into shape. They used lots of different modalities that were really effective. Jordan cupped my back before giving me a deep tissue massage, and Charuta did Ashiatsu, fascial manipulation, cranio-sacral work, and several other methods that I have never experienced before.
